ABOUT TOM
A lifelong interest in psychology and human development has shaped my personal journey into coaching. In 2001, I graduated from the Hudson Institute's Coach Certification program, and have been coaching individuals in transition as well as executive leaders since then. For the past sixteen years, I have facilitated the Hudson Institute's LifeForward program, a four-day experiential program for individuals seeking to make mindful change in their lives. For the past nine years, I have been on the faculty of the Hudson Institute's Coach Certification Program, an eight-month certification program for individual and organizational coaching. I also facilitate Hudson Institute's Corporate programs, with a focus on helping individuals nearing retirement to chart a new course when the need to make a living gives way to a desire to live a life more aligned with meaning, purpose and core values. I am certified as a coaching supervisor and lead supervision groups for new and seasoned coaches. I am certified by the International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach.
In 2008, I retired as a partner from a large commercial law firm, Irell & Manella, where my practice was focused on white-collar criminal defense. I received my BA degree from Brown University and my JD degree from NYU School of Law.
